    : Die Sammlung und Zwischenlagerung von schwach- und mittelradioaktiven Stoffen in Bayern bis zur endgültigen Entsorgung. Er umfaßt auch alle hierfür im Zusammenhang stehenden Tätigkeiten wie die Durchführung von Transporten, Strahlenschutzmessungen, Maßnahmen zur Dekontamination und zur Her-stellung endlagerfähiger Gebinde. Im Vertrag zwischen dem Freistaat Bayern und der GRB vom 20./28.03.1985 in der Fassung vom 03.07./01.08.2002 zur Wahrnehmung der Aufgaben der Landessammelstelle Bayern hat sich die Gesellschaft verpflichtet, die nach § 9 a Atomgesetz von Bayern für die Zwischenlagerung der in seinem Gebiet angefallenen radioaktiven Abfälle einzurichtende Landessammelstelle in Mitterteich und die Annahmestelle Süd in Neuherberg zu betreiben.
